Ahh It burns!

Ahh! I was in the shower and my eye started burning. =( I don’t know how I would have gotten soap in my eye but whatever.

Subsitute teachers

You know what really irritates me? Subsittute teachers that don’t know JS about what they are subing in. Someone kid asks for help in Alg and the response they get is “sorry I don’t know. I’m a history teacher,” Like WTH? We are supposed to be getting an education here and you can’t help us out? You went through High School and College, earning your teacher certification and you can’t do this? Wow.  I think the schools should require their subs to know each course they sub.

On a side note, Yes I am a Junior in Algebra 1 only because I slacked off my freshman year. What we did today was the simplest crap ever. I Had no problem with it, but the students had a difficult time since it was new to them.

All you had to was get X by itself and the answer… “X = ?”

Example:
5x + 5 = 10
- 5     – 5
5x =  5
—     —
5         5
X=25

Gave Me Hope

Holy Crap! So I just signed in and noticed that yesterday and today my blog traffic shot up like crazy. That makes me Happy! I thought no one really reads this but I guess I was proven wrong.

So last night I came across this website http://www.givesmehope.com and could not stop reading. You never really knew that people still care about one another. If your down please go to that website, it will make you feel better. =)

Oh and I haven’t had school since last Tuesday. Ha!

A Powerless Time

Omg Its Midnight! ahhh *runs in circles*

Ha, so on February 10th was the worst day ever. Let me start in order of what sucked. First, around 2am the power went out. We called AEP to come fix it. Around 5 they hit the breaker and the power came on for a minute before a huge flash lit up the field and went back off. A few hours later they came back with a tree removal crew and got stuck on our driveway. Finally after 30 minutes they got out and went into the woods to trim the trees down. Ah ha! they found the problem… Apparently a tree got uprooted by the strong blizzard and fell on our line. I gotta give credit to those guys out there trimming the trees in 36mph winds with snow blowing hard.

Secondly, as I was napping water slowly dripped on me from the ceiling =/. Still tired I put a towel on where it was landing and went back to sleep. Guess what? it started dripping in four more places! Ughh. I pushed the bed from under it and went back to sleep. I’m a genius =).

Lastly, I was out in the blowing cold wind and made my cold way worse. Chapped lips and a cough ruined it all.

A latenight post

Crap is what I feel like right now. Stupid runny nose! Anyways, i can’t really sleep so I decided to post this since I havnt blogged in forever. I’m on my iTouch just incase you didn’t know that. Hehehe this wordpress app is very usefull =).

Soo, I’m really hoping school is canceled tomorrow, which will most likely happen because it’s snowing like crazy outside. That makes me happy and plus our school has already used 9 snowdays with more to come. They can’t extend our school year past June 9th which is fine by me. =P

Ohhh snap! I believe these meds are kicking in finally, I’m getting really tired. I guess I better go to sleep now. Ttyl.
